CORONATION STREET

ITV

ART DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT
(JULY - SEPTEMBER 2019)

PRODUCTION DESIGNER:
ROSIE MULLINS-HOYLE

Following on from the four days of work experience which I completed at Coronation Street as part of my second year studies at university, I was employed as an Art Department Assistant for 12 weeks, before returning to university for my final year.

During my role as an Art Department Assistant, I was able to work alongside Art Directors to create both dressing and action props, carry out research for new characters and design window displays and dressings. I was able to work on my graphics skills to create dressings for new, and existing, sets for the show.

I also had the opportunity to work on the Coronation Street Manchester Pride Float, where the theme was 'Deep Space: A Future World of Equality'. This involved working within a large team to help make the designers vision come to life. Use the link below to see our creations!
